Loisaba Conservancy
The conservancy is situated on one of the largest migratory routes for wildlife in Kenya. Over 800 elephants, countless buffalo and the rare Grevy’s zebra migrate across this land every year, in search of better grasslands. The conservancy also supports over 250 bird species and a further 50 mammal species.
There are 03 lion prides, a small but growing number of cheetahs, leopards and a rare breed of wild dog, long considered extinct in most parts of Kenya.
Loisaba Conservancy is a great place for game drives, walking safaris in Kenya, horse riding, mountain biking and community visits. If you want to see big cats, morning game drives offer the best chances of sightings.
The wilderness areas around the conservancy are excellent for guided hikes and walking safaris, the scenery is stunning and if you’re visiting during or after the seasonal rains, the entire landscape erupts in luscious greens.
If you have previous horse-riding experience, you can ride amongst zebras, giraffes, and elephants on horseback.
