Elephant Pepper Camp

Welcome to Elephant Pepper Camp which is One of only 4 gold Eco – rated camps in the Maasai Mara, Elephant Pepper Camp is situated in the prime core of the protected Mara North Conservancy wilderness area. In the same location for over 20 years, one of the original, very small and exclusive tented camps, Elephant Pepper is located away from other lodges, in the heart of the African bush.

The spacious canvas tents are comfortably furnished, featuring en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and traditional safari showers. Nothing rivals sitting around the campfire enjoying the sounds of the African night. Enjoying extended game drives in the best equipped 4×4 game drive vehicles, clients participate in the most unique wildlife experience in the world. Elephant Pepper Camp brings people back to nature ~ no traffic, no permanent structures, just the sights and sounds of the African bush.

Elephant Pepper Camp consist of 8 canvas tents overlooking savannah plains offering a luxurious safari experience. Each tent has a main bedroom, with a traditional safari shower, flush toilet, private veranda and a hammock.

All the tents are large enough and can fit one extra bed to accommodate children under the age of 16 years only. The camp serves delicious typical Northern Italian cuisine with daily fresh ingredients from their organic vegetable garden.

There is a daily set menu and the camp can cater to any dietary requirements. Yummy children’s meals and early dinners can also be prepared. Please inform the camp about any dietary requirements prior to arrival. Communal dining is encouraged but romantic private dining can also be arranged on request.
