Kenya to Issue E-Visa from January 01st 2021
Kenya is among the East African countries that is much visited by international and local visitors for business and tourism. Kenya can be accessed via Kenyatta International Airport or via the land borders with Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Somalia and South Sudan. Kenya is also bordering the Indian Ocean at the coastal hub town of Mombasa.
Kenya has revised the entry process of visitors at all points of access to reduce long lines and to ease business and this has been done through the introduction of e-Visa for all travelers from 01st January 2021. The electronic visa (e-Visa) for Kenya will become available and mandatory for visitors from all countries that need a visa from the start year of 2021. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced that the online Kenya eVisa system will issue 100% of visas starting on January o1st 2021.
- Click register on www.ecitizen.go.ke.
- Select Register as a Visitor.
- Once Logged in, Select Department of Immigration services.
- Select submit Application.
- Select Kenyan Visa.
- Select the type of Visa and read the Instructions Carefully.
- Fill in the application form.
